Things unheard of in the day such as forensic labs, a soul detector ( psych profile), truth teller (lie detector) etc. This was written in the period when a lot of spying was going on prior to US entering WWI. Reeves detective Craig Kennedy was the most popular detective in that time period. Reeves also wrote some Sci Fir. 12 short stories, 334 pages, several pages of ads for other titles.
